With the growing popularity of meal delivery services, it should come as no surprise that many companies are looking to get in on the game. Not only do these services provide a convenience for customers, but they’ve also made good, wholesome eating easy and accessible. It turns out that the digital media company, Vice Media, feels the same way. They’ve recently launched their own meal kit, called “Munchies.”

Vice Media has already ventured into the food industry with their “how to” cooking series that Toronto chef, Matty Matheson, hosts on their website. Now, Matheson is taking it up a notch with the Munchies meal kits. He’s the brains behind each recipe, giving customers the chance to make high-quality, delicious meals in their own homes.

Inside each kit, you’ll find a recipe that was developed by Matheson himself. With a chef taking the reigns to create each of the recipes, they’re sure to be delicious. In addition to the recipe, you’ll also receive all of the ingredients you need to create your meal. Everything is pre-portioned and ready to go so it won’t take much time at all for you to put a great meal on the table. This means there’s no need for you to meal plan, go grocery shopping, or prepare ingredients in advance. It takes the stress out of cooking by making everything simple for you.

Given that they’re just starting out, there are currently only five different meals to choose from. The recipes you’ll find include: Steak Sandwiches with Kale Chimichurri and Heirloom Tomato Salad, Spicy Pan Fried Chicken with Coleslaw and Corn, Trout Almondine, All Day Breakfast Hash, and a Chocolate Mousse. With options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and even dessert, you’re sure to find something to try out.

Vice Media has partnered with an already established meal delivery service, Chef’d, to provide their meal kits. Anyone who is interested in purchasing them can find them on the Chef’d website along with meal kits from companies like The New York Times, Weight Watchers, Atkins, and the American Diabetes Association.

All you have to do is choose the dishes you’d like to try and place your order through the Chef’d website. They deliver to every zip code within the contiguous United States and, once shipped, your order should arrive within 24 hours. This means you won’t have to wait long before you’re chowing down! Everything will arrive on your doorstep in an insulated, recyclable box.

With the Munchies meal kits, their aim is to make it even easier for viewers to try Matheson’s recipes in their own home. They no longer have to hungrily watch his videos or plan a trip to the grocery store to try his creations.

The Munchies meal kits are available as one-off purchases, which means you aren’t required to commit to a subscription. A meal with servings for two people will cost as low as $22, while a four-person meal will cost up to $46. There’s also a $10 delivery charge per order, but you’ll receive free shipping for orders over $40.
